In these cases we offer expertise in the hardware and software development of electronic equipment and modules. This includes development of micro controllers, digital signal processing, and communications solutions such as GSM and mesh networks.
Design & Drawing office
Emitron offers an electrical and signalling design and drawing office that is able to audit and update existing electrical and signalling plans to as-builds, but also to design new signalling layouts and interlocking based on the technology chosen by the client. The personnel to be utilized have extensive experience in the South African railway and electrical market.
Manufacturing
EMITRON sub contracts companies with electronic manufacturing capability and includes the construction of surface mount electronic modules. Volume production is accommodated by employing a pick and place process. EMITRON has an agreement with an electrical manufacturing and installation company with full BEE and CIDB accreditation. Manufacturing of electrical panels is undertaken for major companies such as SENTECH and the major municipalities.
Installation
Installation teams are available through our partner, Light-Be Pty(Ltd.) to perform indoor and outdoor installation equipment and electrical cabling. This includes railway track side equipment, MV & LV Electrical Reticulation & Industrial Installations, Petro Chemical Electrical, Mechanical, MCC/DB& Instrumentation Installation.
